The Murera Dialogue. What's next for us ?
My name is Julius Kariuki Nyambura, a young resident of Murera. Over the next year, I will embark on a journey of civic education. I hope to have conversations about our home;to ask each other questions about the condition of our roads, our drainage system, how we can end the flooding that comes with every rainy season, how we can better support our youth and children, and how we can keep our home clean, safe, and a place we are all proud to call home. Beyond being a campaign, I hope to spend the next year highlighting the solutions to the challenges we face and helping our community better understand what we should expect from our leaders. It is not a must that I become your representative in the County Assembly, but it is a must that we solve the problems we face as a community. I look forward to talking to each and every one of you.
Home to approximately 26,000 residents, Murera is a rapidly growing communnity. We need to move forward together with integrity, transparency, and a clear focus on improving everyday life for every family.
Safe, accessible roads that connect homes, businesses and schools.
Better drainage systems to reduce flooding and protect our neighbourhoods.
Stronger healthcare services that every family can rely on.
Supporting quality learning environments for every child.
Cleaner streets, greener spaces and responsible waste management.
Creating opportunities through skills development and innovation.
